Forest of Blue Dreams
Forest of Blue Dreams

"Forest of Blue Dreams" is inspired by some lovely woods near my home. Pale rays of light play through beautiful leaves creating delicate shadows. As a child I heard a story about wandering through a forest that had copper leaves hanging from the trees. I think this happy childhood memory has influenced the palette I chose for this painting, which also has hints of pale turquoise, blue and gold.

Can be seen at the Wey Gallery, Godalming, Surrey.
Acrylics on canvas
