Wild Wood Blue
"Wild Wood Blue" captures some birch woods near my home in the Peak District at a time of sunlight and bluebells. It is reminiscent of fresh breezes, nostalgic times and peaceful places. I wander here when there are woodland flowers and the movement of the trees creates dappled shadows over the forest floor. This painting is expressive and creates a feeling of calm and beauty.
