In Spring there seem to be cherry blossom trees everywhere, their joyful flowers heralding the warmer weather and lighter days. After the dark days of Winter it's so lovely to see the beautiful array of pink and white blossoms and this painting is a refreshing reminder that Spring is just around the corner.
