Woodland Dreaming
Woodland Dreaming

"Woodland Dreaming"
This painting was inspired by a lovely forest near my home in the Peak District where I often go walking with my sketchbook. There are colours changing from rich greens to amber, copper, red and gold. Light is visible in the distance of the painting giving a sensed of space and perspective, while the delicate textures created with a palette knife create abstraction in the foreground.
Acrylics on deep edge canvas
50x50cms
Can be seen with the Wey Gallery, Godalming, Surrey.
